Looking to plan the perfect date night? We have got you covered with this simple date night itinerary in the Mills 50 district. Everything is within walking distance to each other, so you don't have to worry about driving too far.

We started this "date night" series on our blog because we love to go out and know what a struggle it is when it comes to picking a good place. We make do the research, go to the best places and create the best night out for you and your date.

First, tacos at Black Rooster Taqueria

If you've seen our previous blog post about Mexican restaurants, you know this one is one of our favorites. If your date is a taco lover, then this is a must. The ingredients are simple yet tasty. The space is small but decked out with lights and reclaimed wooden furniture. The kitchen is open so you can see your food being made. You order your food at the cash register and they'll bring it out to you. It's a great spot if you love good food. The carne asada tacos and guacamole are our favorite items on the menu.

Hours:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Thursday & Sunday 11am-2pm, 5pm-9pm
Friday - Saturday 11am-2pm, 5pm-10pm

Then, drinks at Sunroom

Once you're done enjoying tacos, walk yourself right next door to Sunroom. It's a very chill spot with chic decor and plants in every corner. Make sure to get here right as the sun is setting. The way it peeps in through the windows creates such a calming ambiance. You can see how this bar got its name.

Grab a table, a pretty cocktail, and enjoy each others company. Their drink menu is so extensive that there's something for everyone. It's organized by types of liquor, so you'll know just what to get depending on your taste.

Hours:
Wednesday - Saturday 6pm - 2am

End the night at The Guesthouse

If you liked the setting at Sunroom, then you'll love the bar right next door. This is their sister bar, so the vibes are very similar. We go more into detail about it in our blog post about Orlando bars. It's a quaint spot that makes for the ideal setting for an intimate date night. The lighting is dim, the decor is minimal, and there's background music, making it a cozy space.

The cocktails are hand crafted to perfection. We love getting the Tom Collins and Humming Bird. It's a great place to wind down and end your date night.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 4pm-2am
Saturday - Sunday 12pm-2am
